Morogoro

Morogoro is a vibrant city in eastern Tanzania, located approximately 196 km (122 miles) west of Dar es Salaam. It serves as the capital of Morogoro Region and spans an area of around 530 km² (205 sq mi), making it larger than the entire country of Andorra and comparable in size to the city of San Antonio, Texas.

Often called "Mji Kasoro Bahari" (Swahili for "a city short of an ocean/port"), Morogoro is known for its scenic landscapes, rich agricultural economy, and historical significance.
